Myrtle Mountain
I have been exploring this location for many years. In doing so I have developed a deep interest and curiosity in these beautiful little flowers. The interaction and relationship these flowers share with the lowland swamps that form below our favorite volcanoes, is what initially caught my eye so many years before. But like all things beautiful and unique, a time for rest is paramount.
Finally, in the spring of 2021, these beautiful little Mountain Myrtle’s awoke from their winter hibernation. Arms stretched far to the sky, greeting the lodgepole pines in the process.
